Arlington, VA – May 7, 2026 — ECDC Enterprise Development Group (EDG), a nonprofit CDFI with decades of experience in small business development, is proud to announce the expansion of the Fairfax County Microloan Program under its administration.

The program strengthens economic opportunity by supporting underserved entrepreneurs and early-stage startups seeking flexible access to capital.

Funded through the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) with appropriations from the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, the program provides affordable financing and technical assistance to startups and small businesses across Fairfax County.

To maximize local impact, EDG is expanding program services to include enhanced business coaching, financial literacy training, credit-building support, and entrepreneurship development workshops.
